Instruction and Curriculum Delivery
- Teach massage therapy courses using the approved curriculum and established learning objectives.

- Ensure all course material follows current state licensing requirements and helps students prepare for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination.
Student Engagement and Support
- Maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learning styles and levels of experience.
- Offer regular feedback, clear guidance, and encouragement throughout the course of the program.
Assessment and Evaluation
- Create and administer written tests, quizzes, and practical assessments that reflect what has been taught.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and overall performance.
- Identify students who may need extra support and either provide assistance or refer them to the appropriate staff member.
Compliance and Professional Standards
- Follow all institutional policies and meet the regulatory standards set by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and the Virginia Board of Nursing.

Program Contribution

Education
